Charting a Fresh Course

While he had seen and done a lot during his tenure in public accounting, Andrew was seeking exposure to a mix of roles and industries, along with first-hand experience doing the type of work he had previously audited. His ultimate goal? Getting a taste of different opportunities within finance and accounting to gain clarity on the future direction of his career.

Andrew was a perfect fit for Brillect’s Elevate program which places the next generation of highly motivated consultants in strategic roles to help shape their future career path. He started his Elevate journey in accounting-type roles, and through coaching, he expressed a desire to be exposed to Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). He rotated through a reporting role, followed by a consolidation role and is now in a classic FP&A role, giving him the valuable experience in the broader areas of Finance and Accounting that he desired.

Andrew loves changing up his roles and responsibilities but says it’s the consistency of Brillect’s people-first approach that earns the highest marks. He values the weekly check-ins, debriefs on each assignment, networking with other Brillect consultants, and, above all else, his trust that Brillect always leads with his best interest in mind.
